Adevarata fata a papalitatii

1. Iisus a promovat pacea - Papalitatea a ucis in numele credintei peste 200,000,000 de crestini, evrei, sfinti etc. Fapt recunoscut si de acest Papa in anul 2000 la TV.

2. Iisus a trait in smerenie si saracie - Papalitatea traieste in lux de nedescris. Mananca numai trufe si mancaruri scumpe si este imbracat numai in haine foarte scumpe. palatul unde doarme este decorat cu zeci de kg de aur etc. Averea Vaticanului este estimata la miliarde de euro.

3. Iisus a purtat o cruce grea pe umeri pana pe Golgota - Toti papii au fost purtati pe umeri exact ca si in Egiptul antic.

4. Iisus si-a dat denumire smerita de Invatator si Fiul Omului. - Papa s-a autonumit infailibil (fara de pacat). Iar preoti ortodocsi s-au autointitulat „Inalt Prea Sfant”, unde numai Dumnezeu merita aceasta titulatura.

5. Iisus a iesit in fiecare zi pe strazi si propovaduia Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu, de dimineata si pana seara. Inclusiv in Sabath, adica 7 zile din 7. - Papa de cate ori face lucrul acesta? Iese doar de doua ori pe an la balcon ca Ceausescu si zice Urbi et Orbi in mai multe limbi, si mai participa la cateva slujbe de peste an in marea lor bazilica luxoasa. Atata face.

6. Iisus a jutat pe saraci de orice natie, fara sa se uite la fata omului. - Papa nu ajuta decat ceea ce are legatura cu catolicismul lor. Si asta doar de suprafata ca sa nu dezamageasca si pe paganii care-l privesc.

7. Iisus a vindecat mii de oameni ca si apostolii. - Papa nu avea cum sa faca singura lui minune de a vindeca pe pe o maicuta de a lor de Parkinson, iar papa avea tot Parkinson. E de rasul lumii.

8. Iisus, Pavel, Iosif, Andrei si Petru, Stefan si alti apostoli si sfinti au fost ucisi de Imperiul Roman. Si atunci cum poate pretinde Papalitatea ca Petru a fost primul papa? Sau ca l-au ucis si a doua zi i-au preluat invatatura? Trebuie sa fii redus mintal sa le dai crezare unei minti asa de bolnave si ucigase.
Doamnezeu sa ne binecuvanteze pe toti.

PAPALITATEA = FIARA DIN APOCALIPSA. Oricine citeste Apocalipsa cu mare atentie, descopera surprins acest lucru. 

1. A facut deja razboi cu sfintii si ia biruit. I-a ucis pe apostoli, pe ucenici, crestini si pe mai ales pe evrei secole la randul, prin Cruciade , Inchizitii, tortura cu asa zisii „eretici” si „vrajitoare”. etc

 2. Traieste in lux de secole, iar culoarea papalitatii este stacojiu si purpura, exact conforma apocalipsei. Isi are puterea politico-religioasa mostenita de la Imperiul Roman, care si ei au prigonit si ucis crestini. 

3. Locuieste pe cele 7 coline conform apocalipsei. Roma este singurul oras care sade pe 7 coline. 

4. Se crede inlocuitorul lui Christos pe pamant (din multiplele declaratii rpoprii) 

5. A schimbat deja Legile Domnului, Sarbatorile Domnului si vremurile / timpurile. 

6. A devenit deja o forta politica mondiala (de la infiintarea sa chiar). 

7. Omenirea deja i se inchina. Inclusiv prin statuile si picturile idolatrice ce reprezinta fosti papi. 

8. A adoptat simboluri, obiceiuri si traditii din lumea pagana. 9. A modificat versete din Biblie (chiar si la cele 10 porunci),

10. A interzis citirea Bibliei de-a lungul secolelor si erai torturat daca nu aduceai supunere totala papaei.

11. A vandut indulgente (iertari) catre creduli in schimbul donatiilor de averi, terenuri etc 

12. A binecuvantat deja budismul, a sarutat Coranul si a vizitat triburile wodoo din Africa. 

13 A „fabricat” deja false „minuni / miracole” pentru fosti episcopi, papi, ca sa ii declare sfinti. (vezi Papa Ioan Paul al II-lea, Sfantul (episcopul Nicolae etc etc.) 

14. A „fabricat” false minuni pentru pelerinaje (comert). Vezi Fatima, Lourdes, maica Bernadeth, (descoperit mulajl de pe cadavru de oameni de stiinta polonezi si difuzat deja pe Discovery Channel), statui / icoane care plang (prin trucaje ieftine false dovedite ulterior), etc. 

Doar Christos este singura legatura a noastra cu Dumnezeu. Iisus este singurul invatator.…

VA ROSTI VORBE DE HULA IMPOTRIVA CELUI PREA INALT (pretinde ca iarta pacatele, se autoproclamat infailibil – fara de pacat, preotii se numesc „Inalt Prea Sfant” - denumire ce numai lui Dumnezeu ii se atribuie si s-a autodeclarat chiar loctiitorul lui Christos pe pamant),

VA ASUPRI PE SFINTII CELUI PREAINALT ( vezi Cruciadele, Inchizitiile, procesele cu asa zisii „eretici” si „vrajitoare”. Cine nu aducea supunere totala papalitatii era ars pe rug ca si Ioana d”Arc si alte sute de mii de crestini adevarati) 

SI SE VA INCUMETA SA SCHIMBE VREMURILE (anul nu mai incepe cu luna Nissan – aprilie, saptamana nu se mai termina cu sambata si ziua urmatoare nu mai incepe la apusul soarelui) 

SI LEGEA (a desfintat Sabatul sfant si vesnic al omului, pe motiv ca era doar pentru evrei si ca Iisus a inviat duminica – astea doar motive ca sa justifice continuarea inchinarii dedicata zilei soarelui - Sunday); si sfintii vor fi dati in mainile lui timp de o vreme, doua vremuri si o jumatate de vreme (exact 1260 ani sfintii au fost macelariti de papalitate pana in anul 1799, cand Napoleon a dat o rana de moarte papalitatii, care Musolinii i-a vindecat-o pana in zilele noastre.).

Premierul israelian s-a declarat dispus la "compromisuri durerose" pentru pace

Premierul israelian, Benjamin Netanyahu, s-a declarat, marţi, pregătit pentru "compromisuri dureroase", dând asigurări, în faţa Congresului american, că "nu va abandona niciodată căutarea păcii".


"Sunt dispus să fac compromisuri dureroase pentru a atinge această pace istorică" cu palestinienii, a spus el.

"Nu este uşor pentru mine, pentru că recunosc că, într-o pace veritabilă, trebuie să abandonăm părţi ale ancestralei patrii evreieşti. Trebuie să înţelegem că, în Iudeea-Samaria, evreii nu sunt ocupanţi", a adăugat el, referindu-se la Cisiordania.

Pacea nu a fost atinsă, până în prezent, în Orientul Mijlociu, din cauza unei lipse a acceptării existenţei Israelului de către palestinieni, a continuat premierul israelian.

 "În aceşti ultimi ani, palestinienii au refuzat, în două rânduri, oferte generoase (...). Pur şi simplu, nu au vrut să pună capăt conflictului", a afirmat el.

"Ei continuă să îşi educe copii în ură", a continuat Natanyahu. "Ei continuă să dea locurilor publice nume de terorişti. Şi, mai rău, continuă să perpetueze fantasma că Israelul va fi, într-o zi, sufocat de descendenţii refugiaţilor palestinieni", a adăugat acesta.

De asemenea, în faţa Congresului american, Benjamin Netanyahu i-a mulţumit preşedintelui Barack Obama pentru susţinerea sa "fermă" faţă de securitatea Israelului.

 "Ne-aţi oferit cu foarte mare generozitate instrumentele care ne permit să apărăm noi-înşine Israelul. Vă mulţumim tuturor şi vă mulţumim dumneavoastră, domnule preşedinte Obama, pentru susţinerea fermă a securităţii Israelului. Ştiu că vremurile sunt grele, pe plan economic. Acesta este un lucru pe care îl apreciez profund", a declarat premierul israelian.

Duminică, Barack Obama a anunţat că ajutorul financiar american pentru apărarea Israelului a atins, sub preşedinţia sa, niveluri record.

Pentru prima dată, un sistem de interceptare anticipată a rachetelor, Domul de Fier, a fost pus în funcţiune cu succes de Israel, în urmă cu câteva săptămâni, împiedicând pătrunderea obuzelor lansate dinspre Fâşia Gaza.

Totodată, Netanyahu a dat asigurări că ţara sa va şti să se arate generoasă cu frontierele unui viitor stat palestinian, dar a reiterat, concomitent, refuzul său de a reveni la frontierele prevăzute de armistiţiul din 1967.

 "Israelul va fi generos cu privire la mărimea statului palestinian, dar vom fi foarte fermi atunci când va fi vorba despre trasarea frontierei. Este un principiu important", a subliniat premierul israelian.

"Recunoaştem faptul că un stat palestinian rebuie să fie suficient de mare, pentru a fi viabil, independent şi prosper", a adăugat el.

Dar premierul israelian a repetat că ţara sa nu va accepta să revină la frontierele din 1967, despre care a firmat că "nu pot fi apărate", în timp ce preşedintele Barack Obama a apreciat, săptămâna trecută, că aceste linii de frontieră, stabilite prin armistiţiu, urmează să servească drept bază pentru negocierile cu palestinienii.

În plus, Netanyahu a pledat contra unei împărţiri a Ierusalimului, dând asigurări că oraşul ar trebui să rămână "capitala unită a Israelului".

Unele colonii evreieşti vor ajunge, într-un final, în afara frontierelor Israelului, după semnarea unui acord de pace cu palestinienii, a mai declarat Benjamin Netanyahu, în faţa Congresului.

"Statutul coloniilor va fi hotărât numai în cadrul negocierilor, dar trebuie să fim oneşti. Deci, spun, acum, ceva ce trebuie să fie spus în mod public, de toţi cei care sunt serioşi cu privire la pace: orice acord de pace, în orice acord de pace care pune capăt conflictului, unele colonii vor sfârşi prin a se găsi în afara frontierelor israeliene", a declarat el.

Pacea "nu poate fi negociată decât cu parteneri care sunt hotărâţi să o obţină. Iar Hamas nu este un partener pentru pace", ci "rămâne angajată să distrugă Israelul", a mai spus Netanyahu.

"Israelul este pregătit să se aşeze astăzi şi să negocieze pace acu Autoritatea Palestiniană. Cred că putem pregăti un viitpr strălucitor pentru copiii noştri. Dar Israelul nu va negocia cu versiunea palestiniană a al-Qaida", a subliniat el.

De asemenea, Benjamin Netanyahu a lansat un apel la o "opoziţie cu forţă" faţă de o recunoaştere a statului palestinian la ONU.

"Tentativa palestiniană care vizează impunerea unui acord prin intermediul ONU nu va aduce pacea. Va trebui ca toţi cei care vor ca acest conflict să ia sfârşit să se opună cu forţă acestui lucru", a subliniat Netanyahu.

El se referea la voinţa palestinienilor de a fi recunoscuţi ca stat la ONU.

Palestinenii au statut de observatori la ONU, iar preşedintele american, Barack Obama, a anunţat, în septembrie, că speră ca aceştia să devină membri cu drepturi depline, în 2011.

Potrivit datelor misiunii palestiniene la ONU, peste o sută de ţări din lume recunosc Palestina ca stat.

Petition to the Pope on Holocaust Denial ?!

Bishop Richard Williamson is a Holocaust denier. In a TV interview last year he reaffirmed his view that not a single Jew died in the Nazi gas chambers. In April he was convicted of Holocaust denial by a German court. In November he will appear before the court in an effort to have his conviction overturned. Following widespread international condemnation, the Pope has called on him to retract his statements but he has refused to do so.

Lamentably, Bishop Williamson is not alone in the Catholic Church. Other members of the clergy hold and express similar views. At a time when Catholics and Jews throughout the world are striving to develop mutual respect, we call on Pope Benedict XVI to ensure that there is no place in the Roman Catholic Church for Holocaust denial nor those who practice it.

Cardinalul Schonborn: “Dialogul catolic-ortodox trebuie sa fie un dialog al iubirii”

Fiara din Apocalipsa 13 prinde din ce in ce mai mult contur. Anthristul isi continua planul sau diabolic cu a abilitate identica cu cea din Eden cand sarpele a amagit-o pe Eva. Balaurul cel mare i-a dat toata puterea acestui supraom. Cand e vorba de religie Ecumensim e cuvantul magic cel mai des folosit. Iata asadar ca toate ficele se intorc incet dar sigur la sanul mamei lor Biserica Catolica, mama curvelor si spurcaciunilor( Apoc. 17). Cand este vorba de politica atunci Uniunea Europeana se remarca tot mai mult ca fiind de fapt renasterea Imperiului Roman. Daca cineva isi inchipuie ca Antihristul va prelua puterea prin razboi sau alte mijloace de acest gen se inseala.  Toate aceste lucruri se vor intampla prin viclesug, intr-un mod pasnic. Cine se crede singurul infailibil de pe acest pamant? Cui ii cad totii presedintii si toata lumea la picioare. De ce pentru prima data in istorie Regina Angliei merge in urma Papei contrar protocolului? De ce tot mai multi anglicani se convertesc la catolicism? Aceasta e puterea. Toti locuitorii pamantului i se vor inchina si va amagi pe locuitorii pamantului prin semnele pe care le va face. Se va aseza in templul cel sfant dandu-se drept Dumnezeu. Va rosti hule impotriva lui Dumnezeu si a numelui sau ( Apoc.13). Roma se implica tot mai mult in problemele politice modiale. De ce atat de mult interes pentru Ierusalim? Papa face tot mai multe vizite si tot mai multe compromisuri chiar si cu musulmanii amagindu-i cu aceasta pace si aducand-ui sub semnul fiarei sub tutela romano-catolica.

La finalul întâlnirii de la Viena a Comisei internationale mixte de dialog teologic intre Biserica Catolica si Biserica Ortodoxa, duminica – 26 septembrie, au avut loc două slujbe, prima fiind tinuta la Catedrala catolica “Sf. Ştefan”, iar cea de-a doua la Catedrala ortodoxă greacă. “Viena s-a dovedit a fi o punte între Est şi Vest“, a declarat şeful delegaţiei catolice, cardinalul Kurt Koch.

Desi tema Comisiei a fost Rolul Episcopului Romei în comuniunea Bisericii din primul mileniu, scopul a fost, de fapt, eliminarea obstacolului principal in calea unirii celor doua biserici: diferenta de opinie cu privire la posibila pozitie a papei intr-o biserica unita.


Dialogul iubirii

Cardinalul Schonborn a spus membrilor Comisiei, reuniti la slujba tinuta la Catedrala “Sf. Stefan”, ca dialogul ecumenic “trebuie sa fie in primul rand un dialog al iubirii”. “Cooperarea dintre Apostoli”, între care Petru a fost primul, constituie, de fapt, “prototipul de cooperare pe care o si căutăm“. Această interacţiune a fost determinată de un “primat al dragostei”. Într-un efort de a redescoperi unitatea religioasa, bisericile au fost “interconectate unele cu altele pe parcursul drumului [dialogului/ n.m.]“.

Iubirea a fost începutul dialogului

Cel de-al doilea serviciu religios a avut loc la Catedrala ortodoxa greaca. In cadrul acestuia, cardinalul Schonborn a rostit urmatoarele: “Acest primat al dragostei a facut posibil dialogul iubirii de la începutul dialogului între catolici şi ortodocşi”, referindu-se la intalnirea istorica dintre Papa Paul al VI-lea si Patriarhul Ecumenic Athenagora, care s-a soldat cu ridicarea anatemelor.

Referindu-se la tema de anul acesta a dialogului, cardinalul Schonborn a spus ca “a fost clar pentru toate părţile că episcopul Romei a fost primul dinaintea celorlalţi episcopi”. În al doilea mileniu relatia dintre cele doua biserici a fost definita de cardinal drept o perioada in care fiecare biserica a fost “străina una fata de cealalta, adesea ostile”. “Numai în secolul 20 a existat din nou o mişcare intensă îndreptată faţă de celălalt”.

Cardinalul Kurt Koch a mulţumit tarii gazde şi Fundaţiei “Pro Oriente” pentru aportul adus mişcarii ecumenice. Viena s-a dovedit a fi “o punte de legătură între Est şi Vest“, astfel încât “sperăm că va fi motorasul dinlauntrul Comisiei“ – a spus Koch.  >>>

Archbishop of Canterbury Dr. Rowan Williams on Friday welcomed Pope Benedict XVI to Lambeth Palace where they discussed unity and the challenges Christians face in culture.

It was the first time in history that a pontiff visited the Archbishop of Canterbury's official London residence.

The Anglican and Roman Catholic heads shared warm words as they expressed their desire to build closer relations.

"As bishops, we are servants of the unity of Christ's people, Christ's one Body," said Williams in his address Friday. "And, meeting as we do as bishops of separated church communities, we must all feel that each of our own ministries is made less by the fact of our dividedness, a very real but imperfect communion."

The historic papal visit comes after a number of Anglicans left the Anglican Communion and joined the Catholic Church. Last year, Pope Benedict invited Anglicans who were discontent with the liberal direction of the global body to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church while preserving their Anglican traditions – including married priests. The pope issued an apostolic constitution, providing Vatican guidelines for disaffected Anglicans to enter their fold.

Williams, at the time, said he did not perceive the Vatican's move as "a commentary on Anglican problems" and said it has no negative impact on their relations.

The two church leaders said they remain committed to continuing ecumenical dialogue.

They reaffirmed that commitment on Friday as they addressed a group of Anglican and Catholic bishops at Lambeth Palace.

"It is not my intention today to speak of the difficulties that the ecumenical path has encountered and continues to encounter. Those difficulties are well known to everyone here," the Pope said in his address to Williams. "Rather, I wish to join you in giving thanks for the deep friendship that has grown between us and for the remarkable progress that has been made in so many areas of dialogue during the forty years."

He cited John Henry Newman, a 19th century Anglican priest who converted to Roman Catholicism, as an example from whom they can learn the virtues that ecumenism demands.

"On the one hand, he was moved to follow his conscience, even at great personal cost; and on the other hand, the warmth of his continued friendship with his former colleagues, led him to explore with them, in a truly eirenical spirit, the questions on which they differed, driven by a deep longing for unity in faith," the Pope stated. "Your Grace, in that same spirit of friendship, let us renew our determination to pursue the goal of unity in faith, hope, and love, in accordance with the will of our one Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

As differences over church governance and theology remain points of dialogue between the two bodies, Williams noted, "Perhaps, we shall not quickly overcome the remaining obstacles to full, restored communion."

He quickly added, however, that "no obstacles stand in the way of our seeking, as a matter of joyful obedience to the Lord, more ways in which to build up one another in holiness by prayer and public celebration together, by closer friendship, and by growing together both in the challenging work of service for all whom Christ loves, and mission to all God has made."

They stressed the importance of ecumenical cooperation as they noted a growing hostility toward Christianity.

Williams pointed to the existence of various trends in culture that "seek to present Christian faith as both an obstacle to human freedom and a scandal to human intellect." The Pope, meanwhile, observed that "the surrounding culture is growing ever more distant from its Christian roots, despite a deep and widespread hunger for spiritual nourishment."

"Our presence together as British bishops here today is a sign of the way in which, in this country, we see our task as one and indivisible," said the Anglican spiritual leader. "[W]e shall be effective defenders or proclaimers of our faith when we can show what a holy life looks like, a life in which the joy of God is transparently present. And this means that our ministry together as bishops across the still-surviving boundaries of our confessions is not only a search for how we best act together in the public arena; it is a quest together for holiness and transparency to God, a search for ways in which we may help each other to grow in the life of the Holy Spirit."

The Pope's visit to the United Kingdom began on Thursday. It is the first visit to Britain by a pontiff since John Paul II in 1982.

Vizita Papei Benedict al XVI-lea in Marea Britanie. Antihristul isi ia rolul in serios

 Incepe a doua vizita papala in Marea Britanie din ultimii 500 de ani si prima de acest gen la invitatia statului britanic. Papa Benedict al XVI-lea se va afla in Scotia si in Anglia timp de patru zile (16-18 septembrie). Discutiile despre deficientele Bisericii Catolice au reinceput, printre actiuni si anunturi de protest. Vizita Papei Benedict al XVI-lea vine la cateva luni dupa ce scandalul abuzurilor sexuale asupra minorilor a pus Biserica Catolica intr-o situatie jenanta.

Cativa dintre cei care au suferit in urma acestor abuzuri au tinut miercuri, 15 septembrie, o conferinta de presa in Londra, declarand ca scuzele repetate nu inseamna nimic. Ce vor ei este "adevar, dreptate si tragere la raspundere". Una dintre victime este si Peter Saunders, in prezent seful Asociatiei Nationale pentru Oamenii Abuzati in Copilarie (NAPAC): "Vrem ca Papa sa spuna <>".

De la convertirea lui Henric al VIII-lea si pana in prezent, doar doi papi si-au anuntat vizita in Marea Britanie. Mai putin de o zecime din populatia Angliei si Tarii Galilor este catolica, iar in Scotia catolicii numara 17%. Vizita Papei Benedict se desfasoara sub motto-ul Cor ad Cor loquitur (O inima vorbeste alteia), inscriptionat pe blazonul cardinalului John Henry Newman.

Protest the Pope!

Tot miercuri, Hirotonisirea Femeilor Catolice si alte grupari au format Vocea Catolica pentru Reforma si au tinut un ritual de veghe in piata din fata Catedralei Westminster, militand pentru dreptul femeilor de a deveni preoti.

Discutiile au inceput, insa, mai devreme. Pe 1 septembrie, Central London Humanists, in parteneriat cu Asociatia Umanista Britanica si Societatea Etica South Place, au dezbatut argumentele campaniei Protest the Pope.

Protest the Pope, o organizatie-umbrela pentru mai multe asociatii nemultumite de vizita oficiala a Papei in Marea Britanie, si-a facut publice reprosurile la adresa Papei si in timpul anului.

Membrii organizatiei resping atitudinea intransigenta a Papei fata de avort, de metodele contraceptive, de homosexuali, bisexuali si trans-sexuali, acuza ratarea rezolvarii cazurilor de abuz asupra minorilor si reabilitarea episcopului care a negat holocaustul – Richard Williamson, si a "indulcitorului" lui Hitler, Papa Pius al XII-lea.

Organizatia mai acuza Vaticanul ca nu a semnat tratatele majore ale Drepturilor Omului, ci a preferat propriile versiuni, care "au impact negativ asupra cetateniilor acelor state cu care Vaticanul a semnat tratatele concordante".

"Ca si conducator de stat, Papa este un invitat nepotrivit pentru UK si nu ar trebui sa i se acorde onoarea si recunoasterea unei vizite de stat", scrie site-ul protestatar.

Ideile lui Joseph Alois Ratzinger nu sunt neaparat impartasite de credinciosii catolici din Marea Britanie, dupa cum arata un sondaj recent YouGov, una dintre cele mai de incredere institutii de sondare a publicului din UK.

Peste 70% nu sunt de acord ca in tarile sarace din Africa, unde se duce o lupta cu SIDA, abstinenta trebuie sa inlocuiasca metodele contraceptive. Doar 6% din britanicele catolice respondente ii dau dreptate cand vine vorba de interzicerea avorturilor. De asemenea, o minoritate de 11% dintre catolicii inclusi in studiu considera homosexualitatea imorala.

"Este deprimant sa te gandesti ca puterea politica imensa exercitata de Biserica la Natiunile Unite si in Bruxelles reflecta parerile a catorva barbati varstnici, nici macar a Bisericii pe care ei pretind ca o reprezinta", spune directorul Societatii Nationale Seculare, Keith Porteous Wood, citat de presa britanica.

Pe de alta parte, expertul Vaticanului in relatiile cu Biserica Anglicana, cardinalul Walter Kasper, a fost citat de The Guardian in raspunsul sau la intrebarea daca sunt sau nu crestinii discriminati in UK: "Da. Mai presus de toate, un ateism nou si agresiv s-a raspandit in Marea Britanie. Daca, de exemplu, porti o cruce la British Airways, esti discriminat". Remarcile se refereau la cazul angajatei BA care si-a dat in judecata compania pentru ca nu o lasa sa poarte o cruce la vedere. Aceasta a pierdut atat procesul initial, cat si apelul. BA a raspuns miercuri, negand acuzatiile cadinalului.

Programul vizitei papale

Papa Benedict al XVI-lea va vizita Marea Britanie intre 16 si 19 septembrie.

Joi va ajunge in Edinburgh, unde va fi intampinat de Regina Elisabeta a II-a si membri ai familiei regale. Va tine o slujba publica in Glasgow.

Vineri se va afla in Londra, unde va vizita St Mary’s University College. Aici se va ruga alaturi de reprezentanti ai congregatiilor religioase si va intalni in jur de 3.000 de tineri. O intrevedere cu Arhiepiscopul de Canterbury va avea loc inspre seara, cand va incheia ziua la Westminster Abbey.

Sambata isi va incepe ziua la Westminster Cathedral, de unde va saluta catolicii din Wales. Va vizita un centru de batrani si va incheia cu o rugaciune in Hyde Park.

Duminica, in Birmingham, va tine o slujba de beatificare pentru cardinalul victorian John Henry Newman. Inainte de a se intoarce in Roma, Papa se va intalni cu episcopi din Anglia, Tata Galiilor si Scotia. (Catolicii din Irlanda de Nord apartin diocezei irlandeze.)

Israel in the Last Days

On 14th May 2005, modern Israel was 57 years old, and in August this year it will be 25 years since Jerusalem was declared to be the eternal capital of Israel. Why is the restoration of Israel and their capital city, Jerusalem, so important to us? The reason for this is because Israel is God’s prophetic clock for end time events. He said that we must look at the fig tree (Israel; cf. Hos. 9:10) if we want to know when the summer of His promised kingdom is near (Luke 21:29-30). With Israel’s restoration, the fig tree started budding but when the Messiah comes the whole remnant of Israel will be saved and bear fruit for the kingdom of God (Isa. 27:6; Zech 12:10).

The Bible clearly states that after a long time of dispersion Israel will be restored to their land (Ezek. 37:21). The Lord warned them that their return to the land will occur during a time of great hostility. The devil is still intent on resisting and destroying the works of God, and he knows that the Messiah will return to a restored Israel to destroy the kingdom of the Antichrist and institute His millennial reign. Satan wants to avoid the fulfilment of these prophecies and uses other nations in his continued efforts to destroy Israel.

The Lord will severely punish the nations who try to destroy Israel (Gen. 12:3). In Ezekiel 38 and 39, He tells Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal who resides in the far north (that is modern Russia) that he, as an outspoken enemy of God and His people Israel, will be drawn out of his land to invade the restored Israel together with his like-minded allies such as the Arab nations, so the Lord can judge these rebellious nations who fought against Israel:

“Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh Meshech and Tubal. I will… lead you out with all your army… a great company, all of them handling swords. Persia (Iran), Ethiopia, and Libya… Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah (Turkey) from the far north and all its troops – many people are with you. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains on Israel, which had long been desolate… You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days” (Ezek. 38:3-8,16).

This is very clearly an end time situation. Take into account that it was not before the 20th century that Russia became a superpower that can play a leading role in a large military alliance, and that the restoration of the Jews from their international Diaspora to the mountains of Israel, as well as the hostility that this event caused among their neighbours and in other states, only occurred since the middle of the 20th century. The wealth of the Arab countries because of the discovery of oil, and the consequent enhancing of their political importance and military capabilities, are also 20th century developments. Since Israel’s restoration in 1948, they were engaged in several wars against their Islamic neighbours. During these wars, the Arabian Muslim states mainly used Russian weapons, but they were time and gain defeated and humiliated by Israel. All indications are that in a future, big war against Israel they will succeed in gaining the outright assistance of Russia as an ally and leader in the invasion. Without assistance of this nature they will not be able to defeat Israel.

The Last Generation

In Luke 21, the restoration of Israel and their capital city are linked to a last generation that will expire immediately prior to the Second Coming of Christ: “Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled” (Luke 21:24). At the end of the times of Gentiles, Israel and Jerusalem will be restored as a prelude to a world-wide period of tribulation which will culminate in the Second Coming of Christ: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the starts; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. And He spoke to them a parable: Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you, likewise, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things are fulfilled” (Luke 21:25:32).

In this part of the Olivet Discourse, the public coming of Christ in power and glory is described as the end of the last generation (v.27). As far as the starting-point for this generation is concerned, reference is both made to the restoration of Jerusalem as capital (v.24) and to the budding of the fig tree, which refers to Israel’s revival as a nation (v.29-30).

A full generation represents a period of 70 years (Ps. 90:10). The beginning of the last full generation before the return of the Messiah to Jerusalem (Zech. 14:4-5) is the birth of the modern Jewish state in May 1948.

But the Lord mostly deals with Israel within the framework of generations of 40 years as He keeps the adult generation accountable for their actions. After their exodus from Egypt, the Lord made them wander in the wilderness 40 years until the adult generation that had done evil in His sight all perished (Num. 32:13). Full adulthood in Israel is attained at the age of 30 when men have come of age politically and religiously, and are therefore eligible to perform public duties in these spheres. For the same reason, Jesus could only commence His public ministry as teacher in Israel after having reached the age of 30.

The modern Jewish state came of age politically in 1978 when it was 30 years old. Shortly afterwards, in 1980, Jerusalem was declared to be the eternal and indivisible capital of Israel. This event ushered in the last adult generation of 40 years, which forms part of the same full generation that started in 1948. Take into consideration that the tribulation period of seven years forms part of the last generation before the Second Coming (Matt. 24:29-30) as well as the fact that this generation will not pass away till all things are fulfilled (Matt. 24:34; Luke 21:32).

The First Generation

That there will be a last generation before the Second Coming, is just as sure as there was a first generation after the first coming of Jesus Christ. We only have to be very sure about the starting point and end of these two generations. By way of comparison, we may shortly review the first generation.

In the year 32 the Lord Jesus addressed members of the adult generation, i.e. persons of 30 years and older, and told them that within their generation (of 40 years) Jerusalem would be destroyed and Israel’s dispersion among the nations would already have begun (Matt. 23:32-38). He thereby literally implied that by the year 72 AD these prophecies would be fulfilled. It is a historically known fact that Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD, and all the surviving Jews were taken away as captives of war (Luke 21:20-24).

The first coming of Christ therefore ushered in a full generation of 70 which expired in the year 72 AD. In the year 32 AD, when this generation had come of age spiritually and politically, Israel had to decide whether they would accept Jesus as King and Messiah. Because they refused to do it, members of that adult generation had to bear the consequences of the unbelief and apostasy (Matt. 23:37-38). That generation did not pass away till all prophecies were fulfilled.

The last generation of 70 years that started in 1948, came of age 30 years later and in 1980 declared Jerusalem as capital city without giving any recognition to the Messiah. Israel is now in the 40 years of accountability because of their continued rejection of the Messiah. As a result, they will conclude a covenant with the false messiah, which will be the formal starting point of the 70th year-week of Daniel (the tribulation of seven years). Before this seven year period begins the Lord Jesus will snatch away the true believers (Luke 21:36; John 14:2-3; 1 Thess. 4:16-18).
Transitional periods

The parameters of the first and last adult generations of the present age between the first and second comings of Christ are clearly defined in Scripture. The first generation started when Jesus offered Himself as Messiah-King to the Jews, only to be rejected and crucified by them. The end of the first generation was marked by the destruction of Jerusalem and the beginning of the Diaspora.

The last generation commenced with the restoration of Jerusalem to its former position of Israel’s capital city. This generation will end in the same situation where the first one began: The inhabitants of Jerusalem will again be given the opportunity to accept Yeshua as their Messiah-King and to bow down before Him for salvation and cleansing from their sin (Zech. 13:1). At the first occasion they rejected Him, but at the second occasion they will fully accept Him. They will look on Him whom they have pierced, and say: "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Mt. 23:39; also see Zech. 14:4; 12:10).

A very conspicuous characteristic of the inaugurating and concluding generations of the church dispensation is the coexistence of Israel and the church. During the first generation, the church was gradually phased in while Israel was on a course to be phased out as a nation by way of the Diaspora. During the last generation, modern Israel is gradually phased back into their land and into world affairs, while the true church must prepare itself to be phased out by way of the rapture
The Signs of the Times

As far as the true Christians are concerned, we will be delivered from the dark days of the seven year tribulation period by way of the rapture. We will, therefore, not be on earth for the full duration of the last generation before the Second Coming as we will be with the Bridegroom in heaven for the last seven years. In the traditional Jewish marriage the bridegroom secretly took his bride away, after which she spent seven days with him before she was revealed at the wedding feast to all the guests. This week prophetically refers to the year-week (seven-year period) between the rapture and the public appearance of Christ and His bride. This week will be a particularly dark time on earth as the unsaved Israel as well as the unsaved nations will have tribulation under the false messiah’s reign of terror, while also being judged by God (Matt. 24:21).

There are various signs of the times that have a bearing on this awesome time of tribulation, so the people of that time should know that God judges them because of their sin and unbelief, but also that Christ will return to earth to destroy the powers of darkness. God wants them to fully realise the seriousness of their situation, to reject the Antichrist and his number, and to turn to God the Father through Jesus Christ. However, most of them will be spiritually so hardened that they will not repent (Rev. 9:20-21; 16:9,11,21).

The signs indicating the seven years of tribulation will already become evident before that time on a smaller scale, while increasing in intensity as the tribulation approaches. They will serve the purpose of a clarion call to the bride to prepare for the coming of the Bridegroom, and also to the unrepentant world not to continue shunning the grace of God (Heb. 2:3). When the signs that indicate the tribulation period only begin to become evident (Luke 21:28) we must lift up our heads because our redemption draws near. What are these final signs that indicate the nearness of the Second Coming at the end of the seven year-long tribulation, of which the early beginnings point to the nearness of our escape before the tribulation? Among them are the following:

Natural disasters. There will be great earthquakes in various places (Matt. 24:7; Rev. 6:12; 16:18-20). The sea and waves will roar because of these earthquakes and cause severe panic among millions of people (Luke 21:25). There will also be cosmic signs and disasters that will strike the world from outer space. Among these will be meteor showers and asteroids that will cause devastation on earth (Rev. 6:13; 8:8-9). Furthermore, there will be unequalled heat waves and hailstorms (Rev. 16:8-9,21).

Wars. “And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars… For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Matt. 24:6-7). The situation will aggravate until a time when armies from all nations will be mobilised in the Middle East for the great war of Armageddon (Rev. 16:13-16; 19:19; Zech. 12:3; 14:12-13).

Famines, pestilences and polluted water. The Lord Jesus said: “And there will be famines and pestilences” (Matt. 24:7). People will need their entire income just to buy the basic foodstuffs that they need (Rev. 6:8). Serious disease epidemics will break out and water resources will be so polluted that many will die from drinking the water (Rev. 16:2-6).

Spiritual and ideological deception. Christ seriously warned against this: “Take heed that no one deceives you… For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders” (Matt. 24:4,24). After the rapture the whole deceived world will marvel and follow the Antichrist, and also worship him (Rev. 13:3-4). He will be the political and religious head of all nations (Rev. 13:7-8).
We are living in the last half of the last generation – a generation of which the Lord Jesus Himself said that it will not pass away till all things leading up to His Second Coming are fulfilled. We have all reason to shortly expect the secret coming of the heavenly Bridegroom for His bride. The signs that are so evident in the world are like the shadows of night that convey the ominous message of the impending darkness of God’s judgements that will soon be poured out upon a deceived, unrepentant world in which false religions are rife, while most of the believers in the traditional Christian world only have a form of godliness.

When these judgements are poured out and the whole world is delivered to the dictatorship of the Antichrist, all true believers must be away from planet earth: “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thess. 5:9). By way of the rapture, the Lord Jesus will deliver us from the wrath to come (1 Thess. 1:10). But we must be made worthy for this escape by way of repentance and sanctification (Luke 21:36).

The last seven years of tribulation will be the dramatic climax of the last generation. These awesome days will be terminated by the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus (Rev. 19:19-21). He will come with His saints, who will be revealed to the rest of the world together with Him (Zech. 14:5; Col 3:4; Rev. 19:11-14) and reign with Him in His millennial kingdom (Rev. 5:9-10; 20:6). But we must be blameless in holiness to be presented to the Bridegroom in His ivory palace at the beginning of this seven-year period (1 Thess. 3:13; 5:23-24; Heb. 12:14; 1 John 3:3; Ps. 45:8-15).

The Lord did not reveal to us the day, hour, month or year of His secret coming but He did refer to the last generation within which it will occur. We know for sure that this generation will not pass away till all things have been fulfilled. We do not know which event will be the last clarion call before the coming of Christ (Matt. 25:6). It may be that a few hours or a few days before the time something special may happen to indicate the imminence of Christ’s coming. It may even be the Russo-Arab invasion of Israel, from which the Antichrist could arise as a false prince of peace.

Whatever this cry may be, we do know it will be so close to the rapture that it will not allow the nominal and carnal believers enough time to prepare for the heavenly Bridegroom’s coming (Matt. 25:8-10). We should live in a state of continued holiness for this wonderful meeting.

Cel mai mare accelerator de particule din lume, care nu a funcţionat decât câteva ore după punerea sa în funcţiune în septembrie 2008, a fost repornit vineri, după ce a stat oprit 14 luni din cauza unei defecţiuni grave, a anunţat Centrul Eurpopean de Cercetare Nucleară (CERN), informează AFP.


"Primele încercări de injectare de particule de protoni au demarat în jurul orei 16.00 (17.00, ora României)", a declarat un purtător de cuvânt de la CERN, James Gillies, care a precizat că aceste injectări nu durează decât "o fracţiune de secundă" pentru a permite particulelor să "realizeze jumătate de traseu sau chiar un tur complet" al pistei în acceleratorul de particule LHC.

"Dacă totul se petrece cu bine în această noapte, vom încerca să facem să circule un fascicul de particule în jurul orei 7.00 (9.00, ora României) timp de mai multe minute", a adăugat oficialul CERN.

La ultima tentativă de acest gen, fasciculul de particule a durat 30 de minute.

[Breaking News] Anglicans and Catholics attempt to bridge divide

The meeting between Pope Benedict and the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams had been billed as something of a showdown.

After all, it was the first since the Pope's invitation to disgruntled Anglicans to convert to Catholicism.

Many Anglicans had spoken openly of their concern not only that the invitation was being made, but also about the way it was handled.

It came, earlier this month, just as the Church of England was trying to find ways of keeping those traditionalists on its Catholic wing inside the fold.

There was also minimal consultation with the Church of England.

Rowan Williams himself said he knew about this far-reaching initiative "at a very late stage" - just two weeks before the announcement was made.

Dr Williams is reported to have rung up the cardinal in charge of relations with other churches "in the middle of the night" when he discovered the offer was to be made.

It is, after all, no small offer.

Question of marriage

There will be a special section of the Roman Catholic Church in which former Anglicans will be able to keep some of their own traditions and services, and even be led by former Anglican bishops.

Those bishops can be married - even though Catholic priests must be celibate.

Anglican clergy will be allowed to become Roman Catholic priests even if they are married.

Pope Benedict said he was creating this new enclave in his church only in response to pleas from traditionalist Anglicans, many of whom are unwilling to serve in a church that will, sooner or later, ordain women as bishops.

But the Pope has been accused of riding roughshod over the Church, and even of trying to poach traditionalist Anglican clergy.

So perhaps it was not surprising that there were great expectations for the meeting in Rome.

'Closer relations'

But whatever the irritation Rowan Williams might feel about the lack of delicacy with which the Pope dealt with the Church of England, there is more at stake for both sides than the conversion of a few dozen Anglican clergy to Catholicism.

At just 20 minutes, their private meeting was shorter than some previous encounters, but the official description of it was "cordial", and the Pope presented Dr Williams with a gold bishop's cross.

The Vatican acknowledged that discussions "focused on recent events between the Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion".

However, the statement said both sides reiterated the "shared will" to achieve closer relations.

Underlying relations between the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion is the Christian duty to work towards unity.

The church word is "ecumenism" - describing the universal values and beliefs that all Christians share.

Forty years ago the Roman Catholic Church's Second Vatican Council seemed to promise a greater readiness to meet other churches half way in achieving greater unity.

But Pope Benedict thinks the Council's deliberations have been misinterpreted, and he wants to put a brake on the modernisation that has taken place in the Catholic Church in recent decades.

Disgruntled traditionalists

A liberal Catholic and historian of the Church, Michael Walsh, said the Pope's invitation to Anglicans was part of this plan.

"He is a traditionalist. He likes the history. He likes the old liturgy (forms of church service). But I think what's going on in this case is that he's trying to attract back traditionalists to the Church, people who have left for traditionalist reasons."

Meanwhile, it seems to many people, Catholics and Anglicans alike, that the Church of England, and the wider Anglican Communion, has become steadily more liberal.

It has ordained women as priests and as bishops, and adopted what some claim is a liberal attitude to homosexuality.

So perhaps it suits both churches to transfer disgruntled traditionalists from one to another.

It seems that the Vatican at least no longer believes that the "full visible unity" between the churches that was once envisaged is now possible.

The Church of England has itself seen that there is almost as fundamental a division between traditionalism and liberalism as there is between Catholic and Protestant.

Indeed traditionalist Catholic and Protestant Anglicans have allied in the battle against women bishops and liberal approaches to homosexuality.

Bar to unity

So today's meeting between Pope and the archbishop might have been the opportunity for discussion of a new model for relations between them.

Archbishop Williams has already suggested one - that bypasses what he regards as issues of secondary importance (such as the ordination of women) and builds on the fundamental beliefs and practices (such as the nature of God and the practice of holy communion) that both churches share.

The old approach has been to pick away at particular theological sticking points - such as the churches' different approach to Jesus' mother Mary - and work out areas of agreement.

In a lecture in Rome, Dr Williams questioned whether the outstanding issues of difference really amounted to much.

But he also suggested that even when Anglicans departed from Catholic tradition as it is currently perceived in the Vatican, they might actually have a greater truth to offer.

Dr Williams boldly used the issue of the moment as his example - suggesting that it was the Roman Catholic Church's refusal to ordain women that was the bar to unity.

"For many Anglicans, not ordaining women has a possible unwelcome implication about the difference between baptised men and baptised women."

In other words, if a church denies woman the role of priest, what is it saying about their status even as ordinary members?

Dr Williams insisted that creating women priests and bishops had actually preserved Catholic values.

The archbishop left Lambeth Palace for Rome refusing requests for an interview about his meeting with Pope Benedict, although he later played down the Pope's offer as little more than a "pastoral response".

The Vatican has presented the invitation as intended to create unity, but it actually seems to entrench the differences between Anglicans and Roman Catholics, even if it does construct a bridge across the divide.

They answered and said, Caesar's. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's. (Luke 20:22-25) 
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (Revelation 13:11)  
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:5)
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16-17)
