We ought to obey God rather than men / Trebuie sa ascultam mai mult de Dumnezeu decat de oameni

 [En] "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." - Acts 5:29 KJV

Nowadays people are trying so hard to find the right leader. They spend hours waiting to vote for their favourite; they march in protest against one or the other; they put their faith in someone and nothing good ever happens. They have to start all over again. 

It's like winning the lottery: maybe this time we'll choose the right one. Maybe we'll get lucky. Hardly ever happens. 

It all began in the time of Moses:

"And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die." 

-Exodus 20:19

And it was so from that day on until today. Everybody listens to other people instead of God. 

We can vote, we can protest, we can fight but we'll never find the right leader. 

There's only one solution to this: fixing what went wrong back then. 

The solution is :STOP listening to people and listen God again. God speak with us again lest we die. 

Let's obey God again rather than men! 

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4 KJV

[Ro] "Trebuie sa ascultam mai mult de Dumnezeu decat de oameni" - Faptele Ap. 5:29

Oamenii din ziua de azi se chinuie sa gaseasca liderul potrivit. Ei merg si stau ore intregi la vot, protesteaza impotriva unora sau altora, isi pun nadejdea in unul sau altul si data viitoare o iau de la inceput. Totul e degeaba. E ca la loz in plic: poate poate nimerim unul bun, poate asta-i cu noroc. Nu se intampla aproape niciodata.

Totul a început pe vremea lui Moise cand oameniii au spus urmatoarele:

Ei au zis lui Moise: „Vorbește-ne tu însuţi, și te vom asculta, dar să nu ne mai vorbească Dumnezeu, ca să nu murim.” - Exodul 20:19

De atunci pana azi exact asa a ramas: toti asculta de alti oameni si mai deloc de Dumnezeu.

Putem noi sa ne zbatem la infinit ca niciodata un om nu va putea gasi solutia perfecta.

!!! Singura solutie este corectarea greselii din trecut.

Solutia este: Sa nu ne mai vorbeasca Iohanis, Orban, Trump, etc. Sa ne vorbeasca Dumnezeu ca sa nu murim.

Haideti sa ascultam din nou de Dumnezeu mai mult decat de oameni.

"El va șterge orice lacrimă din ochii lor. Și moartea nu va mai fi. Nu va mai fi nici tânguire, nici ţipăt, nici durere, pentru că lucrurile dintâi au trecut.” -Apocalipsa 21:4

Să priviți păcatul ca vrăjmaș

După ieșirea din Egipt, pe tot timpul cât au locuit în țară evreii au avut 3 feluri de dușmani:

1-dușmanii interni, cele șapte popoare pe care le-au găsit acolo: filisteni, hetiți, fereziți, iebusiți, etc
2-dușmanii externi, madianiți, amaleciți, moabiți, amoniți, ”rudele” lor mai îndepărtate
3-mai târziu au avut ca dușman Babilonul

Toți acești vrăjmași și lupte s-au întâmplat și au fost scrise pentru noi, pentru învățătura noastră. Aș îndrăzni să compar aceste popoare cu păcatele care ori le-am purtat cu noi în inimă până la ”spălarea nașterii din nou”, ori ne ”înconjoară așa de ușor” ca edomiții, moabiții sau amoniții pe Israel.
Edomul de exemplu reprezintă necumpătarea (lumesc ca Esau).
Moabiții și amoniții purtau cu ei ”educația” Sodomei și Gomorei(erau fii ai lui Lot din incest), mamele lor au fost crescute în Sodoma. Moabiții și madianiții au atras pe Israel la păcat după ”învățătura lui Balaam”.
Madianiții erau urmașii lui Madian fiul Cheturei, a doua nevastă(țiitoare) a lui Avram după moartea Sarei. Fiii Cheturei nu au avut parte de moștenire de la Avram: ”Avraam a dat lui Isaac toate averile sale.  Dar a dat daruri fiilor ţiitoarelor sale; şi, pe cînd era încă în viaţă, i-a îndepărtat de lîngă fiul său Isaac înspre răsărit, în ţara Răsăritului. Despre popoarele pe care le-au găsit în țară au primit porunci: ”…voi da în mînile voastre pe locuitorii ţării, şi-i vei izgoni dinaintea ta. Să nu faci legămînt cu ei, nici cu dumnezeii lor. ” Exod 23:31-32

Despre madianiți scrie: ”Priviţi pe Madianiţi ca vrăjmaşi, şi ucideţi-i; căci şi ei vi s-au arătat vrăjmaşi, amăgindu-vă prin vicleşugurile lor…” Numeri 25:17

Sadic pentru vremile noastre, dar trebuie să vedem în aceste afirmații o învățătură ce străbate veacurile, o altă formă a acestei învățături ar suna așa ”împotriviți-vă lui tari în credință!” sau ”să dați la o parte… păcatul care vă înfășoară așa de ușor”…ca madianiții!

Păcate noi și păcate vechi. Trebuie privite fără milă, fără convenții, fără compromis. Cele aflate în inima noastră curățite, cele dinafară respinse. Pilda acestor lupte se află cu detalii în primele cărți ale Bibliei. Să vedem în cucerirea ”țării promise” pilda cuceririi de către noi a ”locurilor cerești” ale lăuntrului nostru. Prin darul ”Celui ceresc” am devenit și noi cerești și toate războaiele din Vechiul Testament, cu stratagemele, fricile, metodele și desfășurările lor au de-a face cu noi, astăzi, sunt luptele lăuntrului nostru. Cu cât mai bine le vom ști și vom medita asupra lor cu atât vom fi mai pregătiți pentru ”lupta cea buna a credinței ".

Redemption (Exodus 12:1-13)

God diverts judgment away from His people. This amazing truth, first seen in the curse falling on the ground rather than on the man and the woman (Genesis 3:17) is now demonstrated more fully through a slaughtered lamb.

God’s people painted the blood of a sacrificed lamb over the doorframes of their houses, indicating that “death has already come to this house.”

That powerful picture helps us to grasp how the death of Jesus applies to us today. Christ died as the sacrifice for our sins. In His death He absorbed the judgment for us. He bore the curse. He died your death.

As one who is united with Christ by faith, you have truly been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20). Christ’s blood has been spattered over your life. In Him, you can say “death has already come to this house.”

God’s purpose in the sacrifice goes far beyond deliverance from judgment. God brought His people out of Egypt so that they would be set free to worship Him. God made a covenant with them at Mount Sinai: “I will walk among you, and be your God, and you will be my people.”

At this time God gave His people the commandments and the sacrifices. We need the commandments because God calls His people to walk in His ways. Those who bear His name must reflect His character.

But God’s people need more than commands. We need the sacrifices, because at our best we are still sinners who fall far short of the glory of God.

God’s people had been delivered from judgment by the blood of a slaughtered lamb. In the same way, their fellowship with God would be sustained through a sacrifice offered for their sins.

God’s promise to set His people free from the oppressive power of evil, to deliver us from the fearful judgment of death, and to walk with us through life, is delivered through Jesus Christ who came into the world to lay down His life as the sacrifice for our sins.

God’s presence with you and His blessing on you are yours through the shed blood of Jesus Christ applied to your life today. Let that lead you to worship and thanksgiving.
